Recruit foster and adoptive families at 2023 Pueblo Chile Fest
The Colorado Department of Human Service is sponsoring a recruitment booth at the Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival, September 22-24, 2023. Chile Fest attracts more than 100,000 attendees from across the state.
Volunteers from county departments, child placement agencies and nonprofits are encouraged to volunteer for one or more shifts at the booth. Volunteers will be able to hand out information about their foster care and adoption program. They will also be able to have one-on-one conversations with adults who are interested in becoming certified. All volunteers will also receive all inquiry forms collected over the weekend.
