In recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Office of Children, Youth and Families at the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is actively calling upon all Coloradans to join in the effort to strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect.

On April 13, CO4Kids, with support from CDHS and the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, hosted a Resource Fair at the Denver Zoo to raise awareness about the various services available to families in Colorado who are facing difficulties.

The CO4Kids Resource Fair: Strengthening Families, Creating Communities hosted over 40 provider services and around 1,000 attendees, including families, caregivers, and child welfare professionals.

If you or a family you know is experiencing difficulties but could not attend the fair, you can find the organization partners that were part of this event below.

Remember, helping families will strengthen their relationships and prevent child abuse and neglect from ever happening.
