Complaints
The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), county human service agencies and the Office of Colorado’s Child Protection Ombudsman are all available to receive and respond to complaints or concerns regarding your experience in the child welfare system in Colorado. More specifically, if you have a poor experience reporting your concerns through the Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline System, please let CDHS &/or your local county human service agency know by clicking HERE.
Want to help
Please DO NOT call the Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline 844-CO-4-Kids with questions about volunteer opportunities, foster care or adoption. If you are interested in getting involved, we encourage you to connect with your local county human services department or community organizations using the campaign search tool to find local organizations in your area or complete the form below and someone will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
Donations
We do not accept donations, but many of our partners do. Please visit the How You Can Help section of our website to find an organization that serves your area. If you want to donate suitcases to children and youth in foster care, you can contact your county department of human/social services or child placement agencies in your area to see if there is a need for these items.
