Join Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Campaign Partners to launch National Child Abuse Prevention Month in Colorado.

Communities across the nation and Colorado are planting pinwheel gardens and wearing blue as a sign of our collective commitment to prioritizing children and families. 

Event Agenda

Help kick-off a month of awareness events and prevention activities throughout Colorado! 

8:00 - 9:30 am: Legislative breakfast (coffee and bagels, West Foyer) sponsored by CO4Kids Campaign Partners Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center and Illuminate Colorado

Come meet your elected representatives and let them know how they can help build a Colorado for kids!  

9:30 am - 12:00 pm: Press event followed immediately by activities on the floor of the Colorado Senate and House. 

Resolutions will be read, unsung heroes will be recognized and hundreds of participants are expected with pinwheels! 

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Legislator lunch (West Foyer) - sponsored by CO4Kids Campaign Partner Colorado CASA

It's also CASA day at the Capitol! Come meet your elected representatives and let them know how they can help build a Colorado for kids!
