Mission

Kids Crossing's vision is to provide a safe and caring home for every child. Our mission is to strengthen families so they may provide the best care to those children entrusted to them.

Opportunities to get involved:

Become a foster parent. Adopt a child or teen.

Are you looking to become a foster parent in the state of Colorado? People just like you provide foster care to children every day.

Kids Crossing is seeking highly committed and loving individuals, couples, or families to work with foster children. The children are between the ages of 0-18 and need short-term care, long-term care, and/or adoption. Experience with childcare is helpful, but not required. However, being patient, caring, and understanding is a must!

Prospective foster parents must feel comfortable being good role models for healthy and happy individuals or families as our children need a safe, nurturing, and stable home to grow. Most importantly, we ask you are willing to fully commit to our kids as there will be very challenging times as a caregiver for our youth! For this reason, we recommend each prospective foster parent start the foster care process with a network of support by identifying family members or friends who can help. Learn more.
