Adams County Colorado Foster Care Informational Meeting

December, Sat 16 8:30 AM America/Denver
ends December, Sat 16 10:00 AM
Pete Mirelez Human Services Center, Room 1107 Cherry B

Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster parent with Adams County. The first step toward becoming a foster parent is to attend an information meeting where you will learn: what foster care is, what it means to be a foster parent, the origins of foster care, how and why children come into the foster care system, a general overview of child protection in Colorado, and how to move forward in the process of becoming a foster parent.

At the meeting you will receive a pre-application packet with our program agreement, questionnaire, and basics on how to apply. Please call 303-412-KIDS (5437) or email for more information.

Please be aware that if we do not have enough people registered for the information session 48 hours in advance then the session may be cancelled. You will be notified via email if this event is cancelled.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare during the information meeting.
