December, Wed 20 5:00 PM America/Denver
ends December, Wed 20 9:00 PM
4159 Lowell Boulevard, Denver, CO 80211

Mount Saint Vincent’s Trauma Informed Caregiving Training is designed to support foster and foster-adopt parents by enhancing their ability to understand and aid children demonstrating challenging behavior. This three-part series, rooted in child neurodevelopment, will explore the impact trauma has on the developing brain, how early childhood adversity may lead to behavioral challenges, and strategies to help children during a crisis. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss with each other how they can relay this information when advocating for a child in their care.

A series of three trainings will be held at Mount Saint Vincent at a fee of $60 per person.

Wednesday evenings from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm December 20, 2017, January 17, 2018 and February 21, 2018
