There are many ways to foster or to adopt. Both counties and child placement agencies will support you through the certification process. You can choose to work with the county you live in, a neighboring county or a child placement agency. If you choose a county you will only foster children and youth from that county. If you work with a child placement agency you can take in children and youth from anywhere in the state.
