Unregulated Custody Transfer Referral Rules Public Listening Sessions<\/h1><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Colorado Department of Human Services Office of Children Youth and Families, Division of Child Welfare is updating Volume 7 administrative rule related to County Department’s response to the Unregulated Custody Transfer of children and youth. The purpose of the rule work is to align Colorado’s rule and practice with the requirements of Colorado House Bill 23-1157.  This rule change will clarify actions required by county child welfare staff and enhance Colorado\u2019s Child Welfare response to the unregulated custody transfer of children and youth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be two separate public listening sessions regarding the Unregulated Custody Transfer Rule Recommendations, held on February 14th and February 17th. This is an opportunity for interested individuals to learn about the proposed rules, ask questions, and provide feedback. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
