Seeking applications for IDD Stepdown Providers
May 17, 2020
The Colorado Department of Human Services, Division of Child Welfare, is seeking to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with licensed providers to serve children and youth with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in licensed out-of-home settings at a $300 daily rate. This process is intended to incentivize providers to care for children/youth with challenging and complex needs that require increased supports and services, and to expand the continuum of care for IDD youth in order to reduce placements out of state.
Foster care agencies, group facilities and residential child care facilities that serve children and youth with IDD are encouraged to review the notice and apply by June 8, 2020.
