Scholarships

Registration scholarships are in the amount of $100* per person. Scholarships will be awarded on a first come first serve basis and must be requested by completing the scholarships request form. Each attendee must request their own scholarship.

Lodging scholarships are also available for certified foster/kinship parents this year in the amount of $110* per person. This covers one night’s lodging at the hotel. Each attendee must request their own scholarship for lodging as well as conference registration scholarship. Scholarship recipients who are attending without a spouse or partner can invite another conference attendee who they know to share the hotel room and save money.

Individuals are responsible for making their own room reservations and the hotel will request a credit card to hold the room. CSFPA will provide a master list of lodging scholarship recipients directly to the hotel closer to conference time so that billing may be adjusted.

This year’s conference will feature nationally known presenter and educator, Sue Badeau. Sue and her husband Hector are foster parents extraordinaire. Sue will attend the entire conference teaching and sharing her breadth and depth of knowledge and experience. Workshop offerings will include topics such as self-care, trauma, legal rights of foster parents, Ombudsman overview, sex trafficking, mental health and more.

Registration for the conference and class details are forthcoming.
