New Dates Added: Domestic Violence Child Welfare Listening Sessions

January 18, 2021

A statewide group of advocates, supported by the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), is inviting survivors of domestic violence to share with us their experiences with domestic violence and child welfare. CDHS has been convening the Domestic Violence and Child Welfare Task Group since August 2020. We would like to invite members of the general public and Task Group to share with us their experiences to inform our work.

This will be an open forum for members to listen, learn and understand. We want to provide a safe environment for this and will work with individuals to develop the safety that they need to share their stories or experiences. You can speak during the meeting, ask someone to speak for you or submit a written statement for an organizer to read aloud. This is a public meeting but it will not be recorded.

Each time slot will be set for 10 minutes to allow for the most participation and there will be 4 dates available throughout the summer.

New Dates:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
