Governor Polis signs bill allowing youth age 15 and older to receive shelter services

On Friday, June 26, Governor Polis signed into law Senate Bill 20-106, Consent To Shelter And Services By Homeless Youth.

The new law allows homeless youth age 15 and older to receive shelter and services from a licensed homeless youth shelter. The Colorado Department of Human Services supports this new law and will promulgate news rules in accordance with the law. Watch the bill signing above.
