Feedback session opportunities for proposed rules for the residential facilities and quality standards updates

The CDHS Division of Child Welfare is seeking feedback on proposed rules will support the Family First Prevention Services Act as well as a new provider type and rules under RCCF - Therapeutic Wilderness Program.  Additional proposed changes to the rules include restraint and seclusion in 24-hour programs, adding definitions and services for youth victims of sex trafficking, administering medications in 24-hour programs, and language updates to reflect current terminology. These rules are scheduled to be effective November 2021.  Please join us to get an overview of the proposed changes.
