Join the CDHS Division of Child Welfare for the Plans of Safe Care kick-off event to learn more about Colorado's collaborative approach to engaging families of substance-exposed newborns. The event will include discussions around multidisciplinary outreach, coordination and partnership to support implementation of the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) provisions, and Plans of Safe Care, a requirement of Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA).
