2020 Colorado Convening on Children, Youth and Families has been canceled

March 23, 2020

What does this puppy have to do with the convening? Nothing. We just thought you might like it.

In response to the public health need to slow the spread of COVID-19, 2020 Colorado Convening on Children, Youth and Families has been canceled. Due to the increased spread of COVID-19 in Summit County, as well as guidance from Governor Polis’ office, Vail Resorts determined they must cancel the event. The Court Improvement Program, in conjunction with Problem Solving Courts and the Colorado Department of Human Services, agree that this is the best course of action in order to support the well-being of all attendees and staff.

The planning committee is currently working on strategies to provide some of the information to attendees in a virtual format. Specifics on which information and availability date will be forthcoming.

While the learning and networking provided at Convening conferences is very important to everyone involved, the health of attendees is paramount.

Thank you for your understanding.

**Please note: Hotel rooms that were booked through registration have already been canceled. If individuals made other arrangements for accommodations, please remember to change those plans.
