Students spend the holidays organizing giving tree project

January 9, 2019

Students participating in the Random Act of Kindness Club at the Challenge to Excellence Charter School in Parker, Coloado organized a Holiday Giving Tree project this holiday season.

The school community fulfilled close to 200 gift requests and granted the wishes of over 100 children in foster and residential care.

The Random Act of Kindness club members stepped up and gave up a lot of their free time to make sure all of the gifts went to the correct families. Students even helped to load cars through their recess time. The families were very grateful and very surprised at the generosity as they jammed their cars full of gifts.

Thank you to Megan Finesilver, Kristen Parsons and the students of the Challenge to Excellence Charter School for giving back this holiday season.
