Pinwheels for prevention photo contest

Upload your photo with a #Pinwheels4Prevention pinwheel for a chance to be awarded a grant ranging from $1,500 to $500, to be given to a Colorado nonprofit to help support families and child maltreatment. 

Submission Instructions:

Step 1: Upload your photo with a #Pinwheels4Prevention pinwheel and fill out the form. Don't have a pinwheel? Click here to order one and support Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Step 2: Check out the submissions that have already been posted and vote for your favorite photo!

Step 3: Share your photo with friends and family! Encourage your friends, family, and child abuse prevention advocates to vote for your picture. 

Winners will be selected based on the number of votes the photos receive by April 30 at 5:00 pm (MDT), so make sure to spread the word!

 


 

OFFICIAL RULES

Please read all contest guidelines carefully

  • Although anyone can enter, grant awards must go toward a 501 (c)(3) Colorado nonprofit organization that works to support families and prevent child maltreatment in Colorado. 
  • The 1st Place Winner will have the opportunity to select a Colorado nonprofit organization that works to support families and prevent child maltreatment to receive $1,500 from the CO4Kids Campaign
  • The 2nd Place Winner will have the opportunity to select a Colorado nonprofit organization that works to support families and prevent child maltreatment to receive $1,000 from the CO4Kids Campaign
  • The 3rd Place Winner will have the opportunity to select a Colorado nonprofit organization that works to support families and prevent child maltreatment to receive $500 from the CO4Kids Campaign
  • Photos must be submitted between April 2 - April 30, 2019 at 5 pm. 
  • Photos must include a #Pinwheels4Prevention pinwheel. 
  • Limit 1 entry per person. 
  • Photos can only be submitted once. In the instance that two people submit the same photo, only the first entry will be considered. 
  • Only image files 10854 KB or less will be accepted. 
  • Photos must be original and taken by the person submitting the photo, or with that person's expressed permission.
  • You cannot enter the contest with a photo that you do not own and have permission to use. 
  • Submission of a photo includes a media release agreement. If any children are included in a photo, you must be the parent or legal caregiver of that child. 
  • Photos may not include watermarks.
