New heat map helps coordinate youth services, identify gaps

October 16, 2019

The Division of Child Welfare has launched the Colorado Statewide Youth Development Plan (SYDP) Heat Map Dashboard, a rich and highly visual data tool that unifies key indicators about risk, protective factors and youth outcomes in one place. It was designed with two goals: Support and encourage funding alignment for Colorado's youth systems and support local communities in accessing key data points.

Colorado’s youth serving organizations can use the heat map to better coordinate services, understand gaps in service and develop a clearer picture of what’s happening in their communities.

The project is the result of a collaboration between the Tony Grampsas Youth Services (TGYS) program and SYDP. These teams are seeking your feedback on the dashboard. Complete this form to provide feedback.
