    Foster care provides temporary care of a child or children while supporting family and agency efforts to reunify the parents with their children. Most children served by the agency remain at home, but for those children whose safety requires temporary removal, the goal is always to reunite the family.

    This class is designed to provide an overview of two basic types of adoption:  1) adopting from the foster care system and 2) domestic infant adoption. It is led by a professional staff member from The Adoption Exchange and provides an opportunity for families interested in adopting to learn more about these processes and to hear from a guest speaker who is an adoptive parent.
