Camp To Belong Colorado accepting youth pre-registration forms

April 30, 2019

Camp To Belong Colorado, a five-night, six-day summer camp for siblings who have been separated through foster care and other out-of-home placements, is accepting pre-registrations for the 2019 session, August 4-9, 2019 at YMCA Camp Shady Brook in Deckers, Colorado.

Siblings will spend the week participating in typical camp activities: swimming, hiking, ropes course, horseback riding, art projects, archery, campfires and more. In addition, campers will participate in a variety of activities specifically designed to enhance the sibling relationship. There is no cost to families for camper participation. Youth should be ages 8 to 18, although exceptions can be made.

This is a pre-registration form to help Elevating Connections, the organization that coordinates Camp to Belong in Colorado, determine the level of need and if each child is appropriate for camp in terms of safety for all the campers, counselors and staff. This is not a therapy camp. Partial sibling groups can attend.

To pre-register a sibling group, please complete the form for each camper and email it to
